2.04 Entering your personal details
We use your personal details to provide a tailored experience when using our software, and to verify your identity when placing your first order as part of our fraud prevention activities.
You must provide at least your title, first and last names, date of birth, one contact phone number, and your home address. Our identity services provider is unlikely to be able to identify you at a business address, so do please ensure you provide your residential address.
Last name: you can provide double-barrelled names but do not enter your middle name.
Date of birth: you must be at least 18 years old to sign up.
Telephone numbers: you should provide only numbers in these fields.
Your address: your home address must be in the United Kingdom and have a valid entry in the Royal Mail Postal Address File. We must be able to independently verify your residence at this address, even if it is not your main residence.
We receive daily updates from Royal Mail, so if you are in a new property please visit the Royal Mail website to submit your address: www.royalmail.com/personal/receiving-mail/update-your-address.
