6.07 What should I do if my foreign currency order does not contain the expected amounts?

Articles on: Delivery

Foreign currency is packed under rigorous security protocols with high levels of automation to ensure the accuracy of each order. Orders are also randomly spot-checked to ensure they contain exactly the right amount of currency before being sealed and added to the Royal Mail collection. Royal Mail then insure your delivery from door-to-door to protect against tampering and accidental damage in transit.

If your order shows sign of tampering, please do not accept the delivery from Royal Mail and contact us immediately. Any delay may adversely affect our ability to claim against the Royal Mail Special Delivery insurance. Sign in to our website and use the support badge bottom-right, or call us on 01707 902316.

In the unlikely event that you open the order and find it contains the wrong amount, please get in touch with us immediately and we will investigate quickly and thoroughly. Please take photos of the packaging clearly demonstrating the tampering, and please be prepared to tell us the denominations and serial numbers of each of the notes you have received as we keep records of these numbers and it will help us with our police report and insurance. If we have made a mistake we will rectify it quickly and with the minimum of inconvenience to you.
