9.02 Diary reminder
Articles on: Clever currency toolkit
What does it do?
A diary reminder sends you an alert before you travel to remind you to buy your currency.
Why would I use it?
Most people lead busy lives and in the run up to your departure date it is easy to forget to order your currency online. That could result in you having to take a trip to the High Street where you will get less travel money - or worse still buy it from the airport where you will lose tens or even hundreds of pounds with their terrible exchange rates.
How does it work?
Just tell us when you depart, where you are going, the currency you require and the amount you want to exchange - then set the date and time you want to receive your reminder. We'll automatically send you an email at the specified date and time, with a link to quickly and easily buy the required currency.
Give me an example
Suki booked her flights to visit her parents in Singapore for Xmas several months ahead, and wants to ensure she does not forget to buy her Singapore Dollars in the busy run-up to the holiday season. She just sets a diary reminder for a week before she travels, and then uses the link in the reminder to order her currency.
Anything else I need to know?
It's always best to place an online order for currency a few days before you travel - just to allow for any disasters - so set your diary reminder at least 3 working days before you depart (and remember the 1pm deadline for next business day delivery).
